Sproing was formed as an independent company in 2018 by the employees of Sproing Interactive after they filed for bankruptcy in 2016 and closed in 2017. They also acquired the rights to the Sproing brand and certain games previously produced, and retain the games that are active through a subdivision called Sproing Publishing.
