Cartoon Network is a cable TV channel established by Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) to broadcast animation programs, and later merged into Time Warner (now Warner Media) along with TBS. It was broadcast on October 1, 1992 (United States), September 17, 1993 (United Kingdom), and September 1, 1997 (Japan). The second-generation Cartoon Network logo began to be used on June 14, 2004 (North America), January 1, 2005 (Latin America), and April 11, 2005 (Europe). All regions are currently using the latest third-generation logo, and the Asian region has been replaced on October 1, 2011.
